CherryLog Rods is basically a one-man shop, located in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley with his wife, Linda, and an abundance of native Brook Trout. The shop's grounds include a casting area and 117 acre Lake Frederick, full of largemouth bass, bluegill, crappie, catfish and northern pike. Tom Carroll, owner of CherryLog Rods, has been building custom fly rods for over 20 years.  Since his retirement from an active dental practice, his full time jobs are wife, grandchildren, fly fishing his “bucket list” and building beautiful high performance fly rods!

Tom's custom rods are owned by fly fishers in many areas, including Georgia, Florida, North Carolina, Texas, Nevada, South Dakota, The Bahamas and Alaska.
